Advisement week: November 2-6 2009
Early registration: November 9 - December 15
Late registration: January 7
To schedule advising after advisement week please send an e-mail to your advisor requesting an appointment. A simple phone call will not remove your holds. Your advisor is listed in ISIS under the advising record.

NOTE: BA in History and Secondary Ed is considered a dual major. All advising will be done through the History Department but for education requirements see the College of Education advising alone with the College of Education WILL NOT release advising holds. Holds can only be released after students have met their assigned advisor in the History & Geography Department. Both advisors must be consulted.

Advisees must come prepared to discuss their needs. Print out your Degree Evaluation Record, analyze what remaining courses you require for graduation, and identify if those courses that are offered this spring, Maymester, and summer.

Note:
The department has committed to sending 10% of its student population to study abroad. Come to advising with any thoughts or ideas you might have about a study abroad option. Next summer you can receive 3 hours credit in either history or geography in a three week course in Oxford with me.
